Millwork... Our mill is a state-of-the-art facility that has the versatility to turn out jobs of any size. From precutting thousands of board feet of shoring timbers, to matching an intricate molding pattern, if you need something in wood that we don't have, we can make it for you. Our planer will surface any size lumber, from 1"X4" to 8"X16" timbers, four sides at a time, giving you the benefit of a smooth, unweathered surface. Our highly skilled millworkers have the knowledge and experience to manufacture the patterns you need using our molders, exactly to your specifications. We have an entire wall of common siding pattern knives, including Bevel, Tongue & Groove, Shiplap and Channel Rustic, to name a few. Cutting custom knives is no problem either. We can even match moldings for Victorian restorations. Our resaw operators can rip lumber to your size requirements up to an 18" X 23" timber, which is larger than anything most suppliers stock. From resawn siding to a resawn beam, there are no limits to what we can produce. We will even handle your pre-drilling needs!

Special Projects... In the aftermath of the 1989 San Francisco earthquake, a huge section of the Cypress Freeway lay in ruins. People were trapped inside and a way of supporting the extremely heavy, yet very fragile structure was needed immediately. Channel Lumber got the call and provided an immediate solution. Eight truck and trailer loads of timber were delivered to the site to brace the freeway and support its failing structure by nine o'clock that night! Channel Lumber provides solutions to challenges, no matter how urgent or massive the project may be. Our fleet of radio-dispatched trucks is now outfitted with a GPS system that gives us constant truck locations to better serve you. When you choose Channel, you get what you need when you need it. Not only do we have the ability to provide these specialty products, fully assembled according to your specifications, but the milling of components for these products is also available. We can deliver your custom manufactured item right to your job site.
