Urban Oasis in Temescal
A development is underway at 51st and Telegraph in the Temescal district of Oakland, with Channel Lumber providing products and services throughout the various phases of construction.
The property, once completed, will include 204 residential units, a Whole Food grocery store, retail spaces, and a rooftop vegetable garden managed by Top Leaf Farms. 17 residential units are designated as low income housing.
RAD Urban is the project’s developer. RAD Urban specializes in modular high-rises. This means that the building components are built off-site, and transported and assembled once the foundation is complete. Think of it as building with giant Lego's.
