Aria Resort and Casino

Casinos | Las Vegas, Nevada

Aria Resort and Casino in Las Vegas is considered one of the most technologically advanced hotels ever built. Aria features “smart rooms” which adjust temperature when a guest leaves or enters, and automatically regulates electricity usage such as lights, curtains, etc.

Aria is LEED® Green Building program certified. At 61 stories and 4,004 rooms, it is the largest hotel in the world to achieve Gold certification. Channel Lumber partnered with the contractors and design team throughout various stages of planning and construction, and played a significant role helping the project be LEED® Gold certified.

Aria opened in 2009, and was an integral part of the Las Vegas “City Center” development. Its construction consists of two striking curvilinear towers which are adjoined in the middle. The property features the most modern amenities including 20 restaurants, lounges, pools, and cabanas. Additionally, Aria has incorporated art throughout the hotel, including at the entrance a lighted water feature, “Lumia” which synchronizes water movement to music.

Until 2016, Aria was home to a Cirque du Soleil production, “Zarkana”, and it currently is showcasing “Viva Elvis”.
